Imaginative Writing
Creative writing is the best educational hobby for everyone. Also, writing allows everyone to see their ideas turn into reality. Creative writing comes in a variety of the following genres: non-fiction, fiction, romantic, science fiction, horror, fantasy, mystery, young adult, and erotic. Writers under the age of eighteen are not allowed to write young adult and erotic stories because they may contain violence and sexual behavior. Also, writing personal information and trying to disguise them as part of the story is not allowed either. If professionals see personal information from an author in a story, then they will recommend them mandatory weekly counseling.Creative writing requires a lot of time and editing. Therefore, it’s important for writers to write their own story ideas on notebook paper. This method is known as producing a rough draft. In additional to producing a rough draft, creative writers need to provide prototypes and names for each character. Also, the creative writer needs to decide which characters are protagonists or antagonists. Once they split their characters into two different categories, creative writers need to produce a timeline and draw a setting for their story. When a creative writer finalizes their storyline and reaches one-hundred thousand words, they begin to type on the computer. If one-hundred thousand words are too complicated to reach, then the creative writer can type fewer pages. Stories that are less than one-hundred pages are known as novella.
Poems are similar to writing a story, but poetry talks about the writer’s expressions. Sometimes, poems can be about the following topics: animals, nature, sports, and relationships. Poetry contains words that rhyme, and the majority of poetry is written in a four line four stanza format. If a poem contains less than four lines per stanza, then it’s incomplete. Therefore, it’s important for poetry writers to pick a topic that doesn’t cause them to have writers block.
